Last but not least, the BATHROOM

Why include this? It was the last room I did, and it was the hardest. How do you make shrimp colored 50 year old tile look good? With all the other rooms, I knew exactly what color I wanted. This one took FOREVER to decide. And I'm actually quite happy with it. Oh, the artwork is made from placemats - guess from where? Clearance at Target. I should buy stock.

Bedroom Phase.....3!

Yes, the bedroom now looks like it came out of an episode of "Swingtown", but it's still considered mid - century, right?

Dining Room (or should I say dining nook) Before and After

Here's the rug, in all it's $15 Target clearance glory...gave me a great excuse to use the wire platters from yet another Target clearance. I need to stay out of that store.

More Redesigns - Living Room Phase 2

I get a rug from my mom for my birthday, and I end up redoing the entire house JUST TO MAKE THIS RUG WORK. I basically swapped the living room and bedroom - moved all the 70's turquoise and orange funk into the bedroom, and pulled all the black/white/olive green calm into the living room. MUCH BETTER. (If I do say so myself). With a little furniture move, I've also added additional seating for our Battlestar Bookclub on Friday nights...

Welcome to Hitwise!

This is the Hitwise NYC office. I was asked to do some final design touches, such as lobby furniture, various artwork around the office, and the clocks and nameplates. I'm now helping with the final touches for the UK office! (I guess they like my style :)

Kaufman's Montclair NJ House

This was sort of a "Designed to Sell" for a co-worker of mine - she and her husband are into mid-century as well, so I used a lot of what they already had, just pulled everything together to help sell the house. And I did it all in just 2 days!
